Exos® Manu Advance

With its fully openable, wrap-around design, the Exos Manu Advance makes thermoformable immobilization for major wrist injuries even simpler.

The Exos Manu Advance is indicated for wrist treatment:

• To provide support and protection for major injuries to the wrist

• To treat fractures requiring immobilization and stabilization

Indications requiring immobilization, support and stabilization of the wrist and distal forearm:

• Wrist fractures (e.g. non-operative treatment of displaced distal radius fractures)

• Post-traumatic periods

  • Easy application – fully openable design with hook-and-loop release ribbon can be wrapped around the patient's arm for a more convenient, more comfortable fitting process
  • Heat, fit, repeat – becomes pliable after five minutes of heating in the Exos® oven for a supportive ergonomic fit. Reheat and reform to accommodate the healing process and reduce waste
  • Easily adjustable and lockable – once fitted, the brace's intuitive Boa® closure system allows precise adjustment of tightness, quick-release access, and reliable locking when needed
  • Easily removable – allows examination, earlier rehabilitation therapy, skin and brace cleaning, and sawless removal
  • Improved hygiene – washable and waterproof, can be worn during bathing, swimming, and exercise. Can be hand washed and blow dried. Anti-microbial treated material is designed to reduce odor
  • Comfortable, lightweight – made from layered fabric, polymer, and foam, significantly lighter than plaster or fibreglass casts for better comfort and compliance
  • X-ray-friendly – radiolucent material allows X-rays to be taken without removing the brace
